Anopterus glandulosus

This stunning evergreen shrub is a native of the cool forests of Tasmania and it usually surprises those that don’t know it as it looks more at home amongst Rhododendrons and azaleas than with Bottle brushes and Eucalyptus.

This plant will slowly grow to 2 to 3 metres and has rich deep green serrated leaves topped in spring with spikes of softest pink to white flowers. It will make a great pot plant and does best in a cool semi-shaded aspect with a compost enriched acid soil.

I have well grown plants in 20cm. pots for $39.50 so why not add this fabulous native to your garden and dazzle all your friends.Anopteris glandulosa
