As you all know I usually blog about plants I have for sale at my nursery but I also have a range of botanical illustrations, both originals and very limited edition prints of Craigs work available. At the moment he has 3 works hanging in “Capturing Flora” an major retrospective of Australian flora in botanic illustration. The exhibition is at the Ballarat Art Gallery and is on till the 2nd of December. This is an event not to be missed by anyone interested in art, our flora or the history of both. The image here is of Banksia integrifolia and is one of the 3 pieces he has in the show. Four other paintings of Craig’s will feature in The Art of Botanical Illustration 2012 at Domain House, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne from the 10th to the 25th of November.
