This huge Genus has innumerable garden worthy species and one could open a nursery specialising in them!

This stunning little thug I imported from Beth Chatto’s garden in England some years back and never get tied of it.

It loves a sunny aspect and will sucker all over the place making it a great choice to soften off the front of a border.

Its fine grey-green needle like leaves start off a lovely shade of burgundy which is a great foil for the heads of lime-green flowers in early spring. It will eventually grow to about 20cms. tall and be completely grey-green by mid summer and then as it dies down it turns fabulous shades of yellow and orange. I have 15cm. pots at $18.50 and be assured you will only need one!Euphorbia cyparissias 'Fens Ruby'
